CMI kidnapped 05 Rwandans in Kakamba Parish , as ISO is facilitating the family of Cassien Ntamuhanga to obtain Ugandan documents

Information obtained by The Great Lakes Eye indicates that CMI arrested five Rwandan citizens in Kakamba village, Kibanda Parish, Kamwezi sub county, Rukiga District. According to eye witnesses, the operation was conducted by CMI Intelligence operatives in an operation to identify Rwandans who crossed to Uganda at Kayaga trading center.  CMI Squadrons apprehend five Rwandan citizens at Kayaga trading center and solicited bribes of up to 200,000 Ugandan shillings for the arrested to get released.

According to Ugandan citizens in the area, the CMI team was led by Tumwine Sam the CMI staff at Kizinga border, Nyesiga CMI staff at Kamwezi and Mohammed.

The arrest comes at the time when ISO using Prossy Boona, an active member of RNC in Uganda are facilitating the family of Cassien Ntamuhanga who evaded justice in Rwanda for cases of terrorism to get refugee status and looking for possible venues to relocate them to another country.  The   family of cassien Ntamuhanga entered Uganda in May 2019 through illegal entry points and was picked by ISO operatives who waited for them on the Ugandan side of the border and includes six members and the mother Nyirabahashyi Emilienne, her sister / one brother and his wife.

Meanwhile a group of ISO officers who were used to be deployed to offer protection to various members of Rwandan opposition while in Uganda remain languishing in detention accused of leakage.
