President Paul Kagame's achievements speak volumes. He is both a Rwandan and an African giant, leaving an unforgettable mark that can never be erased.

Alongside the Rwandese Patriotic Front (RPF), he stands as an African leader who embarked on a mission to liberate, rebuild, and defend Rwanda –an endeavor he steadfastly continues.

Inspired and empowered by his leadership, a new generation of Rwandans carries forth this legacy, exemplifying why he garners admiration from across the world.

However, the job is not yet done. For continuity, Rwandans still need a lot from Kagame and his vision.

Central to President Kagame's vision is propelling Rwanda to Middle-Income status by 2035 and High-Income repute by 2050.

This ambitious vision originates from the country’s National Strategies for Transformation (NST) aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Economic resilience has been the hallmark of Rwanda's journey under the leadership of President Kagame. Despite global uncertainties, Rwanda's economic system has exhibited incredible adaptability, evidenced by a commendable 7.6 per cent growth rate within the first three quarters of 2023.

It is projected that Rwanda’s economic growth will keep going up if all factors remain constant as is today.

The success story of Rwanda's financial performance reveals its effective performance through numerous sectors, each bearing testimony to the efficacy of President Kagame's management.

In agriculture, concerted efforts were made to bolster production through different projects including the Crop Intensification Program, increase of cultivated land, and investment in post-harvest infrastructure.

Grand ventures like the Gabiro Agribusiness Hub and the Gako Beef Project carry a good promise for Rwanda's agricultural landscape, promising more productivity and prosperity.

In education, Kagame's foresight is demonstrated in the creation of specialized programs aimed at nurturing technical acumen. Plans to integrate Bachelors and Masters of Technology programs into Integrated Polytechnic Regional Centers (IPRCs) underscore Rwanda's willingness to fostering an expert personnel prepared to thrive within the digital age.

Infrastructure development is a physical and visible proof of Rwanda's transformative journey under Kagame's management. From Bugesera International Airport to the iconic Amahoro Stadium, Inzovu Mall and the $214 Nyabarongo II multipurpose dam, Rusizi II hydropower plants as well as the Methane gas production project in Lake Kivu, among others, that lay the inspiration for sustained development.

Trade and industry have emerged as essentials in Rwanda's financial development, with strategic investments in particular free zones and other commitments just like the Export Growth Fund that is poised to catalyze entrepreneurial development and bolster Rwanda's position within the international marketplace.

Under the leadership of President Kagame, Rwanda now has 512 Health Centers, 1,245 Health Posts as well as 56 hospitals, and still growing. Kagame's management is rooted in resilience, innovation, and inclusivity. But as Rwanda marches firmly in the direction of its socio-economic aspirations, Kagame's legacy stands as a testimony to the indomitable spirit of the Rwandans and their unwavering determination to a destiny described by improvement, prosperity, and peace.

This is why Rwandans opt to keep Kagame in office, for him to oversee the good work he started.

Now that Rwanda is looking at the second phase of NST, there will be more attention to exponential growth in internet penetration, development of road infrastructure especially feeder roads that were built to connect different communities that were previously isolated, among others.

With these enablers firmly in place, Rwandans expect even more robust growth in the coming years. This will require effort by both the leaders and the citizenry to optimize the infrastructure to drive economic growth.

President Kagame's leadership has undoubtedly transformed Rwanda, setting a solid foundation for its future prosperity. His vision, captured in the NST, has not only propelled economic growth but also inspired a new generation of Rwandans.

However, the journey towards Middle-Income status by 2035 and High-Income status by 2050 requires continuity. Rwandans need Kagame's leadership to see through the completion of ongoing projects and the implementation of future plans.

With Kagame at the helm, Rwanda is poised for a future defined by progress, prosperity, and peace.
